Equality: art on the ave submission

With the rise of Covid-19 and the closures of stores and businesses, NYC had a lot of boarded up areas in the city. Art on the Ave created an initiative to cover the boards in Columbus Circle with art that reflects on the times of 2020 and sheds light of hope and positivity.

Local artists were encouraged to submit artwork in the hopes of being able to display it. While I didn’t get chosen, I truly believe in the piece I created and I was able to get featured on Girls Making Magic Instagram because of it .
